Welcome to the
official website of the ATV Network Limited company.
The name 'ATV
Network' is fondly remembered as the producer of such shows as
Tiswas, Crossroads, Family Fortunes, General Hospital and many, many more.
ATV Network was
originally created in 1968, after previously being founded in 1955 as
Associated Television Limited.
ATV remained a
company until 1992, before being dissolved into the Polygram TV
Group. In 2005 however the network was brought back to life as an
independent company. It should be noted that all ATV no longer has
any responsibility for its former ITV staff. Central Independent
Television took over all ITV staff and productions; thus pensions,
unpaid wages and any other issues involving ATV between 1955 and 1981
is currently the responsibility of Central and its owners. We are
happy to assist however with any issues where possible.
